Quality materials and meticulous work
The frame of the Nordic Dome is made from moisture-resistant 24 mm plywood, covered with UV-stable, water-based hydro coating (Vivacolor Villa Lasur Akva) and then a double layer of Tikkurila Ultra Matt paint. The wooden part is topped with powder-coated aluminum strips.
The dome house’s glass is impact-, breakage-, and UV-resistant 4 mm thick polycarbonate. The glass is framed with powder-coated aluminum strips, and the window shutters are made from powder-coated stainless steel.
The dome house’s ceiling has a programmable and remotely controlled LED circular light.
One Dome, many possibilities
The dome house can be ordered with 1, 2, 3, or 4 doors. When the weather permits, you can open all the doors, and comfortably close them as the evening cools down or the weather worsens. These are sliding doors on metal tracks that open and close easily.
The Dome can be ordered in standard or extended models. The first can comfortably fit 10-12 people on chairs or sofas, and up to 6 people around the table. The extended model can fit 10 around the table, and nearly 20 people for gatherings without a table.

No. The Nordic Dome does not require a foundation and its height is below 2.5 m, qualifying it as a temporary structure that does not require a building permit in most countries. As requirements may vary by region, we recommend contacting your local government.
What type of door does the dome house have?

The dome house is perfect for places with strong and consistent winds; it just needs to be securely anchored to the ground. We offer various anchoring methods for this purpose.
How is the dome house cleaned?
The polycarbonate glass of the Dome can be washed with running water, a pressure washer, or a garden hose. Avoid scratching and cleaning with a cloth. Only 100% cotton or microfiber cloths may be used. For the best results, use special cleaning agents designed for polycarbonate that also contain wax.
What maintenance does the dome house require?
The Dome requires minimal maintenance. Mechanical elements such as rollers, locks, and hinges may need oiling from time to time.
Does the base floor come with the dome house?
No, the standard product does not include the octagonal base. However, it can be added for an additional cost—just select it from the Extras list in the shopping cart. This option includes an impregnated hexagonal floor and planed support beams. The deck base or terraces shown in the photos are for inspiration only; these can be built locally or DIY. If you choose that route, the octagonal base is not required.
