We recommend using a 38 mm hose together with this rubber reducer, even if your device also includes a 38 mm connection in addition to the 32mm connection. By connecting the hose to the 32 mm fitting via the reducer, an elastic layer forms between the hose and the device, which improves sealing and reduces the risk of leaks.

In short: although your device supports a direct 38 mm connection, you’ll get a more reliable and tighter seal by connecting the 38 mm hose to the 32 mm fitting using a rubber reducer.

Connection tip:
Always use strong metal hose clamps. While many devices come with plastic or lower-quality clamps, they often lack the pressure and durability needed for a secure and long-lasting fit. Avoid overtightening the clamp when the system is dry. First, fasten it with moderate pressure, and only tighten further once the circulation pump is running — just enough to stop any visible leak. This ensures a better seal and prevents damage to the fitting or the hose.
