Which Poolex O’Spa version should I choose – 3 kW, 5 kW, or 7 kW?
All Poolex O’Spa models (3 kW, 5 kW, and 7 kW) come with the same key features: heating, cooling, and smart control. The right version depends on your tub size, usage frequency, and performance expectations:
• 3 kW – Ideal for small tubs or ice baths under 500 liters.
• 5 kW – The most versatile choice. Perfect for standard hot tubs and medium-sized setups up to 1,500 liters. It also cools water faster than the 3 kW version, making it a better option for more frequent cold therapy use.
• 7 kW – Designed for large tubs or professional wellness setups that require rapid temperature changes or manage high water volumes.
The 3 kW and 5 kW models share the same compact dimensions (440 × 350 × 430 mm), making them easy to install in most settings. The 7 kW version is larger (600 × 430 × 430 mm) to support its higher output.
Note: All Poolex O’Spa models are on/off heat pumps. If you need more power and want better energy efficiency, we recommend the Ice Spa 7 kW over the Poolex O’Spa 7 kW. To operate Poolex O’Spa, your tub needs:

For a well-insulated hot tub like our NordicSix (1,350 L) — which features thick thermowood cladding and a fully enclosed base but no PUR foam — heating from 10°C to 38°C typically takes 9–12 hours under mild outdoor conditions.
Smaller plunge or ice tubs (250–400 L) heat and cool 3–5 times faster due to reduced volume.
Cooling to 3°C is typically achieved overnight or within a few hours, depending on ambient temperature. Once the target is reached, Poolex O’Spa maintains it automatically for consistent comfort.
