After many years of working with various filtration systems in both private and rental hot tubs, we’ve come across all the typical frustrations: short power cords, no safety switches, messy sand or cotton balls handling, no pre-filtration, and filters that require tools for cleaning.
FilterMax is the first system we’ve seen that actually solves all of these issues in one compact and user-friendly design.
Unlike traditional sand filters, FilterMax uses washable cotton filter balls – reusable, hygienic, and easy to maintain. No scooping, no chemical residue, no complicated disassembly.

Built-in Pressure Gauge – The pressure gauge on the FilterMax lid indicates when the filter balls are dirty and need washing. If water flows too slowly through the filter media, pressure builds up and the gauge alerts you that maintenance is required.

Connection tip:
We recommend using 38 mm hoses on the provided 32 mm inlets together with rubber reducers. The elastic rubber layer between the plastic hose and the fitting significantly improves sealing and helps prevent leaks.
For best results, always use strong metal hose clamps — tighten gently at first, and only adjust further once the circulation pump is running, just enough to stop any visible leak. This approach helps prevent damage to both the fitting and the hose.
